What scans and quota mean
Deep scan
A full analysis of one repository. The system fetches the repo, runs two AI agents in parallel (on Pro, two distinct Gemini models: Gemini 3.1 Pro and Gemini 3 Flash), cross-validates every finding with citation verification, and produces a scored report. File selection ranks your repo and analyzes the highest-signal files, currently up to 50 per scan. Lifetime BYOK scans run on the models behind your own keys.
Re-scan
A lightweight re-verification pass over an existing scan's findings. File selection is restricted to paths flagged in the parent scan, so a re-scan uses roughly 20% of the token budget of a full scan. Pro includes 16 re-scans per month, separate from the 8 deep scan quota.
CTO interview sessions
Customized technical interview preparation based on findings from your scans. Pro includes 15 sessions per month. Scout does not include interview preparation.
Scout (free tier)
One starter scan per account using Gemini Flash. Analysis is capped at 3 findings and 25 files. No career report and no re-scan. Designed to show you what the product does before you commit.
Lifetime BYOK
Unlimited scans with no monthly quota. You supply your own API keys for Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google, and the platform uses them directly for your scans. Provider diversity is required: you cannot configure two keys from the same provider. You pay your AI providers directly; StackProof charges nothing for compute beyond the one-time purchase price.
